Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Lampstand AI ("the Software"), or by participating in the Founding Pilot Program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. The Founding Pilot Program

The Founding Pilot Program grants accepted participants free, full access to Lampstand AI for 30 days. In return, participants agree to:

  • Use the Software at least once per week during the pilot period
  • Provide written feedback after approximately 2 weeks of use
  • Participate in one brief conversation with the developer

Participants who provide thorough, honest feedback during the pilot period will receive a lifetime license at no charge.

3. License

Solo Scriptor grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the Software on your own Windows PC for your own ministry work. You may not redistribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or sell the Software or any part of it.

4. Your API Key & Third-Party Costs

Lampstand AI requires you to provide your own API key from Anthropic or OpenAI. You are solely responsible for any costs incurred through your API key. Solo Scriptor has no access to your API key and is not liable for any charges from third-party AI providers.

5. Your Data

All sermon files, notes, and conversation history processed by the Software are stored locally on your device. You own your data. Solo Scriptor does not access, collect, or retain any of this content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. During the pilot phase especially, you may encounter bugs or incomplete features. Solo Scriptor will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Solo Scriptor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software, including but not limited to loss of sermon data or API charges.

8. Updates & Termination

Solo Scriptor may update the Software and these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We reserve the right to end the Founding Pilot Program at any time with reasonable notice.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.
